February 19, 1996. The Moscow Registration Chamber registered the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” (certificate № 060.026).

1999. Board of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation approved the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” as the authorized non-state pension fund for the employees of the railroad industry. The Fund launched a corporate system of non-state pension provision for enterprises and organizations of the railway system.

2000. The Ministry of Railways approved the Regulation on the branch non-state pension provision for employees of the federal railways, which provides the assignment of non-state pensions, depending on branch seniority and salary of an employee. The first veteran railroaders began receiving branch non-state pensions in the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE”.

2001. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” signed contracts of non-state pension provision with all 17 railroads within the system of the Ministry of Railways. A new edition of the Regulation on the branch non-state pension provision was approved. It provided equal participation of workers and their employers in the financing of non-state pensions.

2004. The Fund signed a contract with JSC "Russian Railways” for non-state pension provision for its employees; this single contract replaced a number of previous contracts with individual railroads. The same year the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” began to function as an insurer for mandatory pension insurance.

2005. The Fund provided the services of non-state pension provision and mandatory pension insurance to individuals and corporate clients. Leading Russian rating agency "Expert RA" gave the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” the exceptionally high reliability rating of "A + +".

2006. Non-state corporate pensions were received by 100,000 railwaymen. 500000th contract was signed in the system of mandatory pension insurance. Professional and business community gave the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” numerous awards to mark its high success rate:

  • «Financial Elite of Russia» in the nomination "The best non-state pension fund"
  • «Pension Oscar» in the nomination "The Best Corporate System" together with JSC "Russian Railways"
  • Silver medal of the Second Eurasian Forum of Investments and Innovations
  • «Company of the Year».

2007. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” became a leader among Russian non-state pension funds in the system of mandatory pension insurance. The Fund was awarded prizes:

  • «Financial Olympus» in the nomination "Profitable NPF"
  • «Financial Pearl» in the nomination "Maximum number of participants involved."

2008. The Fund is given the professional award «Financial Elite of Russia» in the nomination "Grand Prix: The Non-State Pension Fund of the Year". The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” is strengthening its leading position in the mandatory pension insurance market.

2009-2010. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” became a leader of the pension market, ranking first among Russian non-state pension funds by the volume of pension savings, the number of insured persons on mandatory pension insurance, the number of participants of non-state pension provision, and the number of non-state pension recipients. The Fund was the first of Russian non-state pension funds that built the internal system of risk management. After passing the independent audit, the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” received the certificate of compliance of the quality management system with the international standard ISO 9001:2008.

2011. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” celebrated its 15th anniversary, while maintaining the overall lead in the pension market. The acknowledgement of the Fund’s position was the award "Financial Pearl of Russia" (in the nomination "Leader of the pension market"). The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” was the first non-state pension fund that made payments of cumulative part of the labor pension.

2012. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” is the leader of the pension market by the number of client accounts, the number of participants of non-state pension provision programs, and the number of non-state pension recipients. The Fund made payments of cumulative part of the labor pension on the amount of more than 144 million rubles. Among its corporate clients are over 650 organizations and enterprises. The Fund is awarded the highest reliability ratings of the National Rating Agency and the agency "Expert RA". A re-certification audit of the Fund’s quality management system for its compliance with ISO 9001:2008 is conducted.

2013. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” proved its leading positions in the pension market by the number of client accounts, the number of participants of non-state pension provision programs, and the number of non-state pension recipients. Launched on the day of fund’s 17th anniversary – at 19 February – the new official web site www.npfb.ru was given the award of site-contest “New verst” for the full and fair disclosure of all material for clients while the fund passed the regular ranking procedure and was awarded the highest reliability ratings of the National Rating Agency and the agency "Expert RA".

Yury Novozhilov, CEO of the Pension Fund, was ranked amongst “TOP-1000 Russian managers” under the “TOP-managers” category within the rating of Russian Managers Association and Publishing House “Kommersant”.

In accordance with the results of the year 2013, the fund is given the “Company of the year-2013” award under the “Non pension fund of the year” nomination.

2014. According to the Federal law reorganization of the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” was carried trough: the non-commercial pension fund was allocated from the lead Fund in form of independent business unit with new governance form – as the open joint stock company non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE OPS” acting independently from mother company. New fund is the legal successor of the non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” regarding mandatory pension insurance business. 

2015. The non-state pension fund “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” continued to improve its products and the quality of its customer service. The changes in the corporate system of non-state pension provision allowed to offer new features to the clients: a new pension scheme, a possibility to compensate the insufficient period of pensionable service and an extra payment option of the corporate pension.
The Fund reconfirmed its A++ rating (The exceptionally high level of reliability) issued by Expert RA agency and retained its leading position among non-state pension funds in the number of participants of non-state pension provision programs.
Top-managers of “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” were ranked amongst TOP-1000 Russian managers in the categories “TOP-managers”, “Chief Financial Officers” and “Chief Commercial Officers” by the ranking of Russian Managers Association and Publishing House “Kommersant”.
Also in 2015 “BLAGOSOSTOYANIE” became one of the founders of national Analytical Credit Rating Agency, which was formed by the initiative of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
